Testimony: A Double Life Comes Crumbling Down

by The Gideons International on December 9, 2011

Upon graduating from high school in 1975, Dan Wackerhagen appeared to be headed down the path to great success. All of the work he had put into sports and academics had helped him to receive scholarships to major U.S. colleges.

But then, a double life that Dan was leading came crumbling down and he was arrested. The events that would follow including coming across a Gideon New Testament would forever change his destiny.

We invite you to watch Dan’s inspiring testimony now.

Brother Dan:
I love you my dear Brother in Christ: I first met you when you were fresh out
of Seminary and was called to Pastor Mill Creek Baptist Church. My Brother Tucker was a member there/”still is” and he served on the Pulpit committee in the seach for a Pastor.
You have been a great blessing to me as well as I have followed and kept up with you during your years as a Pastor and a military Chaplain.

I shall never forget the time/date in New York City a few years back when Luna and I were there on the New York Bible Blitz and you -were on an assignment at the West Point Academy.
We had a joyous day with you and your lovely wife–Beth — as we worshipped God, had lunch together, and then given a tour the Acadamey.

I love you my dear Brother in Christ– you were/are a great supporter of The Gideons International. God have used you to open many a door for us. Thanks, Friend.
